If you so choose…

I got off the phone with a friend and had to sit back for a moment… I heard myself offer the perspective, "well, sure, it’ll be that way if you so choose.” Funny how the advice we offer is often the advice we seek.

My emotions are mine to hold. My success is up to me. My perspective is malleable and whatever I practice, I will become. My words hold power and weight, they affect my subconscious mind, this I know. I must be precious, precise and intentional with the words I use as those words affect my self perception of my identity. My actions dictate who I am. Who I am is not WHAT I say, but the consistent actions and patterns I exhibit.

I am big and powerful and capable of expansive change and growth. I will add to the love, patience, understanding and grace of this world.

I am my example.

Future me is my hero.
